Signature of Civil Service Code Repeal Bill 2005
That the following Chapter be repealed:
CHAPTER 120 CIVIL SERVICE CODE (98-003, 98-013)
120.1 Public officials, defined as Governor, Deputy, Cabinet official, Supreme Court Justice, or the President, whom have a controlling interest in a business or corporation must disqualify themselves from participation in government decisions concerning same or in government decisions concerning the buying and selling of products produced by the business or corporation.
120.11 A controlling interest is defined as owning ten (10) percent or more of the stock of the corporation or sufficient authority to direct the operations of the business.
120.2 Officials involved in the violation of this provision are subject to censure by the Chamber of Deputies which may involve removal from public office, disqualification from holding public office for a period of one year, and fines up to ~500,000.
